I just purchased dreamtai software that analyzes stocks and gives buy/sell signal. It has very simple user interface with very few controls. It analyzes stocks using data available from yahoo. It tries to identify buy and short sell opportunities. I am not sure how it comes with this signal. Based on the dreamtai.blogspot.com, Sanjoy(developer of dreamtai), I am guessing, it probably looks for moving averages to see if stock is below, above or on the moving average. In addition, it determines the potential of stock to continue to move up. It calls it stock power ranking.
I have not tested it in the real market yet. I plan to test it with some kind of virtual portfolio first.
